Jason A. Kim was born in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania, on December 6, 1974, and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2000. His family moved to Blue Ridge, Georgia in 1985. He received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum laude, in English, with a minor in Philosophy from Toccoa Falls College in 1996, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2000.

While at Toccoa Falls College, Mr. Kim was a member of the Student Government Association as Treasurer for one year, served as a resident assistant, and was an editor for the student newspaper. While at the University of Georgia School of Law, Mr. Kim clerked for the Clarke County Magistrate Court Judge and participated in the Lawschool Prosecutorial Clinic by working under the third year practice act at the Hall County District Attorney's Office in 1999-2000.

Mr. Kim began practicing law in Athens, Georgia, at the Law Office of Richard Jack in 2000 where he handled general litigation matters with a concentration on insurance subrogation litigation. Mr. Kim worked for three years at the Law Office of Richard Jack, until he began work with Bagwell & Corso in 2003.

At Bagwell and Corso, later Bagwell and Associates, Mr. Kim's practice consisted largely of real estate transaction work, along with continued work in general civil litigation and criminal defense. Mr. Kim has handled cases in multiple Georgia State Courts.

In summer of 2007, Mr. Kim started his own legal practice in Gainesville, Georgia, and concentrates mostly on real estate transactions and general civil litigation.
